Uzbekistan plans to invest 30.4 bln USD in the oil and gas industry by 2021, Uzbekneftegaz CEO Alisher Sultanov announced during OGU 2017.
The major projects include exploration and development of the “25 Years of Independence” gas field along with construction of gas processing plant in Surkhandaryinsk Region, GTL plant on the base of Shurtansky gas chemical complex and new refinery in Dzhizaksky Region.
To ensure the supply to the newly constructed facilities, Uzbekistan plans to increase gas production by 53.5 bln cubic meters, condensate production by 1.1 mln tons and oil production by 1.9 mln tons.
According to the agreement with Administration of Eiz Eldeen Saleem Sub-District LUKOIL implemented the first social project for this year, which was the Food Boxes Project.read more
