The delegation met with Egor Zubarev, Managing Director of LUKOIL Mid-East Limited (LMEL). Vissarion Goreev, Head of LMEL Corporate Security, and Asaad Najim, Head of BOC West Qurna-2 Facilities Protection Department, also took part in the negotiations.
Mr. Zubarev thanked the Commander and members of the delegation for their support of the Company's uninterrupted activities during the pandemic. The parties expressed satisfaction with effective cooperation between LMEL and structures responsible for the protection of the West Qurna-2 personnel and facilities.
During the meeting, it was stressed that petroleum operations should continue in all conditions, including the ongoing fight against the spread of coronavirus infection.
