“LUKOIL closely cooperates with the local administration and BOC while implementing social welfare projects. It’s important to note that all such projects to date were non reimbursable. As for the projects based on the reimbursement scheme, we confirm that we are ready to implement them. Currently, LUKOIL Mid-East Ltd is discussing the implementation mechanism for such projects and expecting projects proposals from the Basra government. We hope that our discussions will soon bring positive results and we will implement many joint projects together for the benefit of the local community”.
