Last year when we marked this professional holiday, we launched projects into industrial production that have cemented the basis for the company’s development for decades ahead: the Vladimir Finalovsky offshore oilfield in the Caspian Sea (Russian President Vladimir Putin participated in its launch) and the Pyakyakhinskoye oilfield in Russia’s northern Yamal territory.
We’ve completed our multiyear oil processing infrastructure modernization program, in which we have every reason to be proud. We’ve also begun to sell new innovative fuel on the Russian market.
We were noted among world leaders in terms of key financial indicators last year, which was resulted in our company capitalization growth.
Those facts reflect our main accomplishments, but not all of them by far.
Each LUKOIL employee deserves gratitude for his dedicated work – whether on-shift at an oil platform in the Far North, or at a refinery, laboratory, office or gas station.
We always strive to meet all our obligations before our many thousands of employees, the state and society, and this will continue to be our policy.
We congratulate you with our professional holiday from the bottom of our hearts! We wish you health, family happiness and new accomplishments!
Vagit Alekperov, LUKOIL President
