DANIEL HOGAN General Manager, LUKOIL Upstream West (Houston)
"I read each newspaper and find it very informative, in fact the articles are excellent. I prefer traditional, paper format in English. I would be glad to contribute with periodic comment on the US business environment."
YULIA POLOVODOVA General Counsel, LUKOIL Upstream West (Houston)
"I read Oil Journal from time to time and prefer traditional (paper) format. I like the newspaper and ready to contribute as an author."
WILLIAM MILLER Senior Contract and Procurement Manager, LUKOIL Upstream West (Houston)
"I’m happy to see we have the option of receiving the e-newspaper instead of a paper newspaper as this will aid in meeting our sustainability goals as outlined in the LUKOIL annual report. It would be nice to see in the newspaper a best practices section in which we have sharing of best practices not only between assets or entities but also between functional departments."
ELENA VASHCHENKOVA Assistant, LUKOIL Overseas North Shelf SA (Oslo)
"I read the newspaper to keep myself updated on the company activities and news. Online version is preferable, easy accessible and environmentally friendly. I also prefer read in English only as it is the main language in our office."
INA STUMPE Head of Communications, LITASCO (Geneva)
"I not only read, but also publish the newspaper internally on our website. Oil Journal is of great interest for LITASCO Group employees. Interviews on current business activities are very instructive! The only controversial aspect I need to mention is the bilingual format. The majority of our stakeholders and employees do not read Russian, so I would like better the version in English only."
VITALIYA TSARIK Senior Specialist for Regional Affairs, PJSC LUKOIL (Moscow)
"I like stories that don’t simply repeat the company’s official news, but cover interesting local events or explain complicated technical processes in simple language. I find the online version useful, but only when I receive email reminders outlining the key topics covered. If we talk about flaws, I would prefer a more laconic design."
ANTON ODINTSOV Head of Human Resources and Development, LUKOIL MidEast (Basra)
"I’ll browse through the newspaper if it catches my eye. It’s interesting to read news about the oil industry relating to both LUKOIL and the global market. I would like to receive the online version. Maybe I’ll try contributing my own text, if I have time, of course."
HASAN HASAN MAAN Regional Affairs Representative, LUKOIL Mid East Ltd (Basra)
IGNATIY VOLNOV Head of Geological and Hydrodynamic Modeling Department, LUKOIL Uzbekistan (Tashkent)
"I’d like to see more news about LUKOIL’s various assets, and not just those located outside of Russia. I’m less interested in industry and company news that’s openly available from other sources like LUKOIL’s website. It would be great to see more stories about individuals and events at companies operating LUKOIL assets and LUKOIL itself, as well as social projects in the regions where the company works. I’d also request that the newspaper’s electronic version be made available in Russia for LUKOIL employees, and not just abroad. "
